Ho scoperto da un po' questo blog dove disegnatori di ogni tipo interpretano a modo loro le copertine dei loro fumetti preferiti. Le versioni nuove più sono personali e più riescono meglio.
Mi sono prodigato anche io in questa cosa con questo Topolino del 1978. Ancora non è apparso sul sito ma se e nonappena lo farà ve ne darò notizia qua.

I recently discovered this blog where every kind of artist give his take on a famous comic book cover. The more different is the new version the better the result is.
I took the challenge and I recreated this Topolino (Mickey Mouse) from a 1978 italian comic book.
My piece isn't yet on the site but you'll know for sure here if and when it will surface there.

Una piccola strunzatièlla per complimentarmi da solo. Ho imparato a fare i balloons in Illustrator, grazie al sito della Comicraft di Richard Starkings. Che fighèzza.

Just a little dumb drawing to pat myself on the shoulder. I learned to make nice balloons in Illustrator by following Comicraft's Richard Starkings advices. Neat!

I draw one every other year since a lot of time ago. This year there's the perplexed Big Santa. Without his sexy elves, there's crisis all around...

Nuovo frontespizio! / New header!

Invece di un nuovo disegnino nei post normali, ho rifatto il frontespizio. Era da tempo che mi ero stufato di quello vecchio.

No new post but a totally new header. I was tired of looking at the old one every time i logged onto my own blog...

The little girl and the Omme Ragn (2009 version)

Ogni anno o giù di lì sento l'urgenza di disegnare un Uomo Ragno.
Quest'anno però il disegno rispecchia il periodo un po' instabile e arriva sul blog incompiuto.
Però in abbinamento ho anche una girl con gli occhioni (blu? verdi? maròn? boh...).

Every once in a year I have the urge of drawing a Spiderman.
This time, though, it's like the period I'm living. Very unstable and unfinished.
As a bonus, a girl wiht big blue/green/brown eyes.

Wolverine e il Professor Layton

Ecco, dopo un'eternità a far fotografie sono tornato a far scrivere i pennarelli, le matite e i pennelli.
Un paio di disegni raffiguranti un Wolverine classico, che più classico non si può (memore delle grandi posture che solo Jim Lee e Arthur Adams sapevano dargli) e un paio di personaggi nello stile di quel mini videogioco troppo divertente per Nintendo DS, il 'Professor Layton e il villaggio dei Misteri'. Ci ho giocato quest'anno in primavera e mi piace un sacco come hanno disegnato tutto, dai personaggi agli sfondi.

Here I am, after a long time spent shooting photos I got in my hands some drawing tools.
I post a pair of drawings, one is a classic Wolverine in a very Jim Lee/Arthur Adams-esque posture and the other a picture in the style of that Nintendo DS videogame: 'Professor Layton and the Curious Village'.
I played it in this year's spring and I loved the drawing style of the characters and backgrounds.

Lo so, è uno scandalo, sono mesi che non aggiorno il blog.
Che ci volete fare, la vita ha preso un po' il sopravvento e tra il lavoro, l'esser andato ad abitar in una casa nuova, le fotografie che mi hanno fagocitato gli spazi creativi (con molto piacere, eh, mica mi sento in colpa) ho trascurato i miei disegni.
Eccomi per intanto con due nuove creazioni uscite dalla mia biro.

I know, it's a shame, it's been a long while since the last update.
What can you do, life got in the way and in between the daj job, the moving into a new house, my photography (which has swallowed up my creative time with much pleasure) I somewhat forgotten to add things on this blog.
Here's for now some new creations from mi ballpoint pen.
